Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention.  It is a system practiced for health maintenance, healing and increasing vitality.  The gentle, rhythmic movements of QiGong reduces stress, builds stamina, increases vitality and enhances the immune system.  It has been found to improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and digestive functions


Emotional Freedom Technique is an acupressure technique of "tapping" on specific meridians to optimize your emotional and physical health and healing.  Regardless of your devotion to fitness, proper diet and lifestyle, emotional barriers can prevent your success.  I have studied and used EFT for over 10 years and believe everyone from ages 5 - 105 should know how to use this technique.

There is a story acupuncturists tell about how, once upon a time, there was a great Emperor in China, who united all the warring clans and brought peace to the country.  One day this Emperor gathered all his doctors and scientists together and said, "go find out how to make me live forever".

So they went and studied herbs, nutrition, anatomy, biology and the Universe, discovered the acupuncture meridians and points and how to stimulate them with needles,  and came up with the system that today we call Chinese Medicine. Now, while Chinese Medicine did not allow the Emperor to live forever, it did give him the ability to live healthy, for a long time, and when it was time to go, he went quickly and without much suffering.

The United States today is in the midst of a health crisis the likes of which have not been seen anywhere else at any time in history.  The average number of medications a person is on by age 55 is 8 - eight!  and the amount of fatigue, depression, insomnia and stress related health issues is at an all time high.  The OPIOID crisis is out of control and we are loosing people everyday to accidental overdoses of their prescription drugs.  

Most people can expect to have developed at least one of these:  addiction, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, multiple pain-causing health issues or cancer within 5 years of retirement and instead of experiencing their peaceful, quiet golden years spent traveling with partners, and enjoying their families and grand children, they are tethered to a medical center or a team of doctors who try to keep you alive and often suffering for as along as possible.
